The Smart Buildings Show

This week Merchant Land attended the Smart Buildings show. The aim was to connect visitors to the latest information and technologies in the smart buildings industry.

Smart buildings have much to offer – from making buildings more efficient and responsive, to improving our working environments. Through the use of information technologies, smart buildings can bring together disparate systems that often work independently, like heating and cooling systems and lighting, and underpin automated building management systems. These systems can then share information to optimise the performance of buildings.

The show included a wide range of presentations, including from IBM and Microsoft. And it covered all the key aspects of creating and managing smart buildings including energy efficiency, lighting and control, smart meters and monitoring, building automation systems, and workplace wellbeing.

Merchant Land welcomed the opportunity to find out more about exciting developments in smart building systems and technologies.
