This month, Katherine McCullough was pleased to be interviewed by the London Chamber of Commerce on what International Women’s Day means to her.
The purpose of the day is to uphold women’s achievements, recognise challenges and focus on working towards challenging stereotypes and breaking gender bias to accelerate women’s equality and progress in all aspects of life.
Excelling as a woman in the workplace is a complicated and rewarding journey. Katherine’s advice to women starting in business careers is to be “determined and confident, but also it’s a marathon, not a sprint… Good female managers are absolutely excellent once they find their business voice and identity… Consistency and resilience does really sort that out”.
