Triqis chooses Merchant House for London Design Festival showcase

We were thrilled to welcome design studio Triqis to Charlotte Street for a five-day pop up experience at Merchant House, showcasing the team’s exciting new designs during London Design Festival.

Triqis is an innovative design studio founded by Kwaku Boateng and Erwan Le Bozec, who focus on creating exceptional, highly sustainable furniture and lighting. The award-winning pair have earned themselves a slew of impressive accolades, being selected as one of Monocle magazine’s top 25 designs of 2023, editor’s choice in Darc Magazine and this year also featured in Conde Nast magazine’s World of Interiors.

Triqis products have also been showcased at the likes of the Design Museum and the London Design Festival 2023; just two of several institutions dedicated to high-quality interior product design.

Charlotte Street acted as a showcase space during the London Design Festival, with Triqis launching a brand new furniture range inspired by tropical architecture and influenced by European design.

Katherine McCullough said: “It was brilliant to be able to welcome Triqis for the London Design Festival – there were lots of fantastic events taking place in Fitzrovia during the week-long festival, so Charlotte Street offered the ideal spot right at the centre of the action. The London Design Festival is an annual event we particularly enjoy so it was great to have Triqis with us and see their vision come to life.”

Merchant House occupies an enviable spot on London’s Charlotte Street at the heart of Fitzrovia. The building was lovingly restored by Merchant Land and is now home to eight apartments plus commercial space. Just one unit now remains and interested brands should contact Hamida Begum on 0207 522 8744.
