Planning application for 6 new family homes at Manor Lodge

Merchant Land have now submitted our planning application for 6 new family homes at our Manor Lodge site at Northwood designed by local firm Seabrook Architects. After we purchased this site from Northwood College, we looked carefully at the local housing market and supply before appointing our design team. Developing houses rather than flats complements a site that sits adjacent to the local conservation area and high quality local green spaces including a golf course and lots of mature trees. We are also confident that these proposed homes – semi-detached houses with spacious flexible layouts – will provide something that can genuinely appeal to younger buyers looking for a family home in Northwood and even down-sizers who are looking for a modern home that is easier to manage.

So far we have had a positive response from local stakeholders and neighbours and are hopeful of securing a consent this summer. We can then turn our attention to the detailed design stage and preparing to start on site.
