Merchant House hosts London Design Week ‘Curioso’ exhibition
We were pleased to be able to welcome Swanfall Open Gallery to Merchant House last month as part of London Design Week.
London-based Swanfall Gallery is dedicated to showcasing emerging talents in the contemporary art scene; a mission we’re delighted to be able to support with space for the duration of the festival.
The Gallery’s exhibition, Curioso, predominantly featured paintings alongside some sculptural works and will ran from 16th September until 22nd September.
Merchant House offered the perfect space to showcase Swanfall Gallery’s curated selection of art and design, including unique contemporary masterpieces, innovative designs and rare finds. Visitors enjoyed ‘a treasure hunt through time that redefined our connection with art and design’.
Katherine McCullough said: “London Design Week is one of our favourite events of the year so it was fantastic to be able to host Swanfall Gallery’s Curioso exhibition – Charlotte Street is an ideal location at the heart of the action, offering the perfect backdrop to bring the team’s vision to life.”
Merchant House occupies an enviable spot on London’s Charlotte Street at the heart of Fitzrovia. The building was lovingly restored by Merchant Land and is now home to eight apartments plus commercial space. Just one unit now remains and interested brands should contact Hamida Begum on 0207 522 8744.
