Aldgate in Winter

The Aldgate in Winter Festival has come back for two exciting weeks of community creative workshops, festive market and lantern exhibition. The festival celebrates ‘light, hope, creative communities, sustainability and inclusiveness’ bringing forth the exciting festive spirit.

From the 6th-17th December, Merchant Land are delighted to be hosting the Aldgate Lantern Exhibition – in which children’s online submissions of drawings are turned into 3D lanterns to be displayed around Aldgate. Passers-by can see the wonderful installation of a Teapot and Gingerbread person lantern at 33 Creechurch Lane amongst the many installations located within Aldgate which can be found on the Aldgate in Winter 2021 Online Exhibition Map.
